There are some fine restaurants that offer freshly caught fish and other locally sourced produce.
Bude offers a range of activities; crazy golf, sports centre, indoor swimming/fun pool, outdoor sea pool, tennis, squash, horse riding, bowls, golf, ten pin bowling, fishing (coarse fishing in the Bude Canal, Trout in the Tamar Lake and sea from the Break-water and beaches).
There are regular coach trips to local towns and places of interest. Indeed, this part of Cornwall is ideal for touring some of the loveliest country you will find anywhere; the Moors of Dartmoor and Bodmin, small fishing harbours and ports which are dotted along the coast to the south of us to the Camel Estuary at Padstow.
